ERIK JOERGENSEN (1928-1998)
Erik Joergensen was trained upholsterer and saddler. In 1954 he founded Erik Joergensen Moebelfabrik where he combined his skills as a craftsman as well as his god understanding of materials with new functionalist design trends.
When architects designed new furniture for Erik Joergensen Moebelfabrik, he always took part in the process. Erik Joergensen also sat at the drawing board himself and several of his sofa designs are classics today.
